Q1: Can you briefly introduce yourself as well as the Disciplina?
Ilya Nikiforov – Founder of Disciplina: My name is Ilya Nikiforov, founder of the DISCIPLINA project and educational platfom TeachMePlease (teachmeplease.ru and teachmeplease.com soon).
So DISCIPLINA — the first blockchain to create verified personal profiles based on academic and professional achievements, with the implementation of NFT as a genuine guarantee of the copyright for published content.
Q2: Why does Disciplina need a blockchain? Why project you want to build your own blockchain instead of using Ethereum, Binance smart chain?
Ilya Nikiforov – Founder of Disciplina: Bitcoin, Ethereum and other permissionless blockchains were developed with the assumption that everyone is free to join the network and validate transactions, that are public.
However, the industry often requires privacy, and thus the permissive solutions with private ledgers came to exist.
The idea of storing educational records in the blockchain has been circulating in the press and academic papers for several years. The ledger is going to be shared between major offline educational institutes.
The main issue these solutions have in common is that they target a certain subset of ways people get knowledge. We propose a more general approach that would unite the records of large universities, small institutes, schools and online educational platforms to form a publicly verifiable chain.
Contrary to the solutions like Ethereum, we do not aim at proposing a programmable blockchain that fits all the possible applications. Rather, we believe, that we should harness all the latest knowledge that emerged in the last few years in the fields of consensus protocols, authenticated data structures and distributed computations to offer a new domain-specific ledger.
Finally we introduce DISCIPLINA — the platform based on blockchain technology that aims to transform the way educational records are generated, stored and accessed.

Q3: Who can join the DISCIPLINA ecosystem? What are their benefits? What is your market strategy to attract these audiences to join your project?
Ilya Nikiforov – Founder of Disciplina: Answer to this question also will not be short. Sorry 🙂 But that is is:
Academic institutions: state and private offline and online organisations, children’s educational institutions, universities, academies, etc
Tutors: offline and online tutors, coaches, instructors, teachers, psychologists, mentors etc
Students: any person that is studying, or would like to find an educational programme for themselves or for their friends and family
Recruiters: HR-agencies, private HR-specialists, platforms for personnel search and recruitment, employers and entrepreneurs
The key opportunity of the DISCIPLINA participants is to store the data on personal achievements in digital form and to provide the access to the data through the unified platform, guaranteeing its permanence and credibility

Q4: Can you briefly explain the core features of the $DSCPL token? How do you plan to maintain the value of the $DSCPL token?
Ilya Nikiforov – Founder of Disciplina: That is easy: Academic institutions, Tutors, Students, and Recruiters will interact with each other on the DISCIPLINA platform through applications that contain educational, recruiting, and other interfaces.
DSCP tokens are required to get access to DISCIPLINA protocol.
The more data stored on the DISCIPLINA, the more valuable the access to it will be.
As for backers and early participants they will be able to choose the staking options up to two years with good interest earning. Liquidity mining will be available at the 15–30% APY upon the launch.

Q5: What milestones have Disciplina achieved so far and what is the next roadmap for 2021?
Ilya Nikiforov – Founder of Disciplina: So right now our Alpha version of Disciplina blockchain is unders tests by limited team of developers. We will make it public soon.
Our next milestone is to run a token swap from DSCP into DSCPL. We want to make it simple and smooth for the community.
DSCPL will open a lot of new possibilities for token holders.

Q1: Every project has a story behind their name, Can you tell us more about the story behind tchmpls events? Who are the team behind tchmpls events project? can tell us their background?
Ilya Nikiforov – Founder of Disciplina: TCHMPLS events is a short version of TeachMePlease events. We used this name for all our events related to project Teach Me Please.
I founded TeachMePlease in 2016 and at the beginning Disciplina was just an internal project of TeachMePlease.
We were not planning to make it public. But later, I realized that Disciplina would open new extensive possibilities if it becomes public. That’s how Disciplina became a separate project.
Q2: The people who get access to the prospective employee’s personal information, how does Disciplina ensure that they are not fake employers or fake companies? are there any previous agreements with them and confidentiality agreement?
Ilya Nikiforov – Founder of Disciplina: To protect the system from fictitious educational institutions, DISCIPLINA has an inbuilt Web of Trust, analogous to PGP, in its protocol. Each user will be able to choose the system participants they trust.
The level of trust in the other system members will be calculated individually for each user. Our network thus has no “verification centres”, which have an unlimited right to register or refuse the registration of an educational institution.
Our Web Of Trust will allow recruiters to know which educational institutions are worth cooperating with and which are not.
The value of the grade given to the student will depend on the rating of the educational institution at the time the grade was awarded.
Q3: Partnerships are crucial for Adoption, so can you tell us what partners you have currently and future partnerships?
Ilya Nikiforov – Founder of Disciplina: As I told before Disciplina is my second project after TeachMePlease.
So TeachMePlease already has more than 2000 educational partners. As soon as Disciplina is ready, all of them will become partners of Disciplina.
Also, we have a strong partnership with the Government of Saint-Petersburg and works closely with them.

Q4: Community support is one of the biggest aspects of a project’s success. Most projects have programs that interact with their users. Does you have any special plans to attract and expand the community and improve the user experience?
Ilya Nikiforov – Founder of Disciplina: Right now we are increasing marketing activity all around the world to make it bigger. Just a few weeks ago, we had the first Disciplina China fans meetup in Hangzhou.
And it was great! We have solid support in China now. But we are also building a worldwide community very fast.

Q5: Can you share about disciplinary technology? Why did Disciplina develop its own blockchain architecture? How does Disciplina work?
Ilya Nikiforov – Founder of Disciplina: DISCIPLINA doesn’t use any other blockchain, and is being developed for the demands of the educational and recruiting fields, taking into account the specificity of their activity.
DISCIPLINA is designed to act as a decentralized ledger, with special regard for privacy and mechanisms of data disclosure.
Our architecture splits the blockchain into two layers: the private layer contains sensitive data, and the public one contains the information necessary to validate the integrity and authenticity of the private blocks. The key entities of the proposed blockchain architecture are presented in the following Figure:
Private layer. The private segment does not allow any data except hashes to open access. This is done to store private and personal user data, as well as those materials that are protected by copyright or commercial confidentiality
Witnesses check the validity of the segments within the private blockchains of the educational institutions. They will manage public chain of blocks, on which data created within each school is hashed. The witnesses won’t have access to the data itself, only to the hashes of the data
Educational institutions. An educational institution is any state or private online and offline organisation that conducts any and all educational activity. Private tutors are also included. It can even be a simple marketplace offering the sale of study materials. Every educational institution has its private chain and the opportunity to monetize educational records stored there.
Recruiters and other interested parties are offered paid access to the information about the academic history and achievements of the students.
Public layer. The public segment provides the access to the data that verifies the integrity of the private chains and the reliability of the data stored by the network.

During the build of your project, do you take into account any of the community feedbacks or demands to further expand the new ideas for the proyect?
Ilya Nikiforov – Founder of Disciplina: Yes, we are always listen to the community to be sure that we are moving in to the right direction.
Binance smart Chain blockchain is having high transaction speed and cheap gas fees, Are you planning to launch your mainet or switch to other blockchains in the future?
Ilya Nikiforov – Founder of Disciplina: We will use BSC in our project very soon.
Who are your potential customers and which markets are you targeting on???
Ilya Nikiforov – Founder of Disciplina: We do not have selection of markets. We are heading to be worldwide project.
