Yuno – Blockelite Host: Hello fellow Eliters and welcome to another Blockelite AMA Series
So ladies and gents, Our special guest today is Jack Wu – CEO of FreeCity
Hello @Jack_FCC , welcome to Blockelite today

Jack Wu – CEO of FreeCity: I am!
Excited even
It makes me happy to be able to share our mission and vision

Yuno – Blockelite Host: Our guest is ready, we will enter Segment 1 right now !!!
Q1. Can you please introduce yourself and share a quick overview of FreeCity?

Jack Wu – CEO of FreeCity: Yeah, of course, my name is Jack Wu and I’m the CEO of Freecity.

I’m an ex-intel engineer, serial entrepreneur and investor.

In short, FreeCity is a web 3.0 User Aggregation Platform built on the foundation of Social, Gaming, NFTs, Liquidity and Proof of interaction to help Web3 marketers to identify, incentives and retain users.

It’d be great if you guys can follow us on

Yuno – Blockelite Host: Thank you, for your introduction, our pleasure to have you join us today
Next question
Q2. Many projects currently focus on GameFi and Web 3, so what are the advantages and uniques that FreeCity wants to bring?

Jack Wu – CEO of FreeCity: I’d say our Proof of Interaction would be the key distinguishing feature we have and one of the best value we bring, for every single interaction you made on the platform, you will be rewarded for it. Hence the name proof of interaction.

Leave a comment, get rewarded
Leave a like, get rewarded
Achieve a milestone, get rewarded/

These actions and data would help our partners to better identify the user groups they’d like to reach out to.

Yuno – Blockelite Host: Next question
Q3. What is your business model? How do you maintain and long-term development of your project?

Jack Wu – CEO of FreeCity: FCC’s revenue model is based on Sales of NFT Digital Merch from our Event Partners, KOLs etc.

I guess it’s more about the willingness to sacrifice the short term gain in order to build up a better outcome in the long term.

As of now, we are looking into building a robust community and ecosystem, working with not just partners from web3 but web2 as well.

Yuno – Blockelite Host: Sounds great, NFT is so hot, I have owned some NFTs

Jack Wu – CEO of FreeCity: Hope you own some great ones

Yuno – Blockelite Host: haha, I hope too
Continue with Q4
Q4. What is the market strategy of FreeCity to get mass adoption by millions of users or investors outside the crypto space and keep them on your platform?

Jack Wu – CEO of FreeCity: Community First would be the short answer, but I’ll try to elaborate

We had previous success in the Web2 world, what we’re planning to do is to replicate that success, connecting both Web2 and Web3.

Since the cost of acquisition in the Web2 world is relative low, and we’ve designed our product in a way where acquired users do not need to understand the difference between web3 and web2 due to fiat supported features.

Ultimately the goal would be being “community-owned” – FCC’d final goal is to be a DAO that held strong opinions on: unique token holders, community engagement, sentiment, and developer activity.

Yuno – Blockelite Host: Okay, last question in segment 1
Q5. What’s the next roadmap of FreeCity for 2022?

Jack Wu – CEO of FreeCity: As of now we’re developing our Social Platform, we’re expecting to launch late March.

And once we’ve added the social platform we will launch our NFT market place and integrate several games onto the platform.

By the end of this year, we’re hoping to launch our 3D Avatar Creation Feature.

Yuno – Blockelite Host: We wrapped up nicely the first part.
Are you ready for Segment 2 (5 best questions from twitter)?

Jack Wu – CEO of FreeCity: Yes

Yuno – Blockelite Host: Our guest is ready, we will start Segment 2 right now !!!
Q1) Game only support PC device? Many games don’t support mobiles, and that reduces the attraction of many players around the world. Will it be compatible with Android devices and also iOS? Will it be released first in desktop version or mobile version?

Jack Wu – CEO of FreeCity: We’re built to be mobile focused since day 1, this fits well with society’s using habits. 🙂

Yuno – Blockelite Host: Focus on the mobile now
Next question
Q2 ) FreeCity is a web3 user aggregation platform built on the basis of Proof of Interaction. But what is the user aggregation layer that has been built around this protocol? How exactly does this system work and how will it help you attract more users?

Jack Wu – CEO of FreeCity: FreeCity’s user aggregation layer allows us Collaborate with Gaming studios/protocols to provide play to earn experiences. This allows us to always brings in freshness to our platform to increase retention on our platform but also leverage our partners to grow the platform

Yuno – Blockelite Host: Next question
Q3) Winning is the most interesting part of the NFT gaming industry. allows players to not only have fun playing, but also invest their time and money to get a great return as profit. So, What are the different ways to earn income that you offers to its users?

Jack Wu – CEO of FreeCity: Well, we’re not actually a GameFi company, but we are on top of the foundation of SocialFi, DeFi, GameFi and NFTs

I think the key is

“ Attention and Interaction is the key for marketing, regardless in Web3 or Web2.”

Freecity provides a platform that rewards users for their interaction on the platform.

We help encourage and allow users to support projects and creators on top of our social platform. Projects and Creators are provided with the tools to identify and incentivize their loyal users.

Yuno – Blockelite Host: Continue with Q4
Q4) Do you agree that a project’s token value is as good as its utility? If yes, since the ” FreeCity’ will issue ” FreeCity’ token as part of the protocol’s release, what are your plans for increasing its value and what are the main purpose of the ” FreeCity’ token?

Jack Wu – CEO of FreeCity: Yes I do agree on that, if you’re not providing value, then you’ve failed as a project.

And for the utility of FCC Token is as following

1 ) GameFi Token Swap – Built-in DEX for in platform token swaps

2 ) Boosting Power – Unlock VIP access to protocol on-chain & off-chain benefits

3 ) Staking & Liquidity Mining – Provide Liquidity to NFT Marketplace

4 )Governance – Voting Power for future directions of Free City

In the long term, our goal is to ultimately transform into a DAO that is sufficiently decentralized

Yuno – Blockelite Host: Ok, last question of this segment, everyone please prepare good questions for segment 3.
Q5) For some Play-to-Earn games, players will need to spend fortunes in order to earn, and if they don’t invest heavily, what they earn can’t even pay gas fees used during games. What does it cost to play this game and how profitable can it really be?

Jack Wu – CEO of FreeCity: We dont emphasizes on the game, but again the interaction you have on the platform.

“ Attention and Interaction are the key for marketing, regardless in Web3 or Web2.”

And why not get rewarded for that?

Again, Freecity provides a platform that rewards users for their interaction on the platform.

We help encourage and allow users to support projects and creators on top of our social platform. Projects and Creators are provided with the tools to identify and incentivize their loyal users.
