Q1: Can you please introduce yourself and share a quick overview about Highstreet?
Travis Wu – Co-founder & CEO of Highstreet: Travis here, CEO at Highstreet, We are an MMORPG game where in-game items are real products from real brands. Its a bit of a childhood dream for our team of gamers. our team grew up playing maplestory and World of Warcraft where we’d spend hours grinding levels, with the rise of GameFi and NFT, our degenerate gaming habits all of a sudden can become quite productive. Especially when in game items have real world values intrinsically tied to them.

Q2: The name Highstreet seems to be very interesting. Can you share with us the story behind it or the inspiration for approaching this name?
Travis Wu – Co-founder & CEO of Highstreet: Highstreet is essentially shopify on an MMORPG game, it allows various brands from HIGH fashion to STREET wear to easily launch their own virtual shops in our metaverse. The game itself is inspired by some of our childhood classics, from Maplestory, Avatar the last airbender, Treasure Planet,One Piece, as well as Ready Player One. Highstreet you can think of as a very real place that you and your friends can travel to and have epic adventures in.

Q3: Can you explain how Highstreet Metaverse works? What role do HIGH tokens play in the Highstreet ecosystem?
Travis Wu – Co-founder & CEO of Highstreet: Highstreet Metaverse is an MMORPG game that starts you off on Freshmint Island where you learn to craft and defend yourself. Then you head on over to the Continent of Solera where you begin your journey as an Explorer. There are class systems in place, at the start you can either be an archer or Brawler, but we’ll add more down the road. As you shop around Highstreet City you’ll start realizing real world brands embedded into the game allowing the integration of physical and digital worlds together. Our products are mostly phygital so feel free to redeem what your character wears in game into the real world. HIGH token is one of two tokens in the Highstreet Metaverse, HIGH is primarily used for in game Real Estate, special heal items, Tickets for in game Ferries etc whereas another token to be launched later in the year “street cred” will be used for other in game products.

Q4: What are the target users of Highstreet?
Travis Wu – Co-founder & CEO of Highstreet: At the start probably a lot of native gamers who love MMOs or enjoy exploring immersive worlds. We are built with Native VR support as well so definitely think a lot of PCVR players will be interested in trying the metaverse out itself. One of our core features is our commerce component though so I think this is where a lot of crypto natives would be drawn towards us, besides the play to earn strategy, our market place has tons of Defi mechanics in it and have plenty of ways for people to earn
Yuno – Blockelite Host: and How do i know if this project is trustworthy?
Travis Wu – Co-founder & CEO of Highstreet: The core team itself has been working together for almost 6 years now. We started as a traditional equity based Virtual Reality company called LumiereVR where we use our computer vision technology to help brands and retail companies turn underutilized real estate into mixed reality experiences. Since our inception we’ve built and picked up a few entities along the way. We have an award winning studio arm backed by Sundance Festival that consistently pushes the boundary of Art and Tech, In fact, last year, my co-founder produced a piece that won an Emmy. In 2018 we also acquired a data analytics company called Retinad Realite Virtulle based in Montreal. Incorporating their gaze tracking software into our metaverse allow brands to receive consumer behavior data in real time. How long a product had been interacted with, how many times a logo’s been seen, every piece of information is natively picked up and processed for brands to help improve their customer experience. Our team today consists of people from corporates like Mickinsey and Sotheby’s, as well as crypto natives and Traditional alt asset traders. However the one thing that binds us all together is that we’re all super hard core gamers that’s been building our vision together for the past 6 years. Ready player one is like a Bible for many of us, so building Highstreet is really that first piece of the puzzle.

Q5: What’s the next big milestone that Highstreet is working towards?
Travis Wu – Co-founder & CEO of Highstreet: So we just dropped NFTs (https://highstreet.market/ffds) of our Duck mascots haha so things are pretty exciting, by the end of the week these ducks will be able to enter our mid-autumn vault to earn a chance to receive HIGH Vouchers. these vouchers not only will turn into HIGH tokens post TGE, but before that you can use it to participate in our Drop 0 release as an opening event for our market place. There you can buy specialty products as well as earn even more HIGH as rewards. Finally we have Public sale coming up soon! Announcements will be out next week, as well as exchange listings that follows. During Halloween our metaverse will open for public alpha and we’ll kick everything off with an In Metaverse AMA as well, so get your ducks and prepare for an epic adventure !

Q1: Since the tokens from the marketplace represent redeemable limited edition products, how is it ensured that no token or product can be plagiated and therefore no user can be scammed? What gives the tokens the mark of being original and not replicable?
Travis Wu – Co-founder & CEO of Highstreet: At the moment for our limited edition market place we are handpicking merchant partners, usually they are reputable brands or celebrities starting new apparel companies. All tokens generated from these products are locked on our platform, so there are no chances of fraud. Anything off platform is not real.
its important to distinguish that our limited edition product market place or Highstreet Market serves erc20 tokens NOT nfts. They are more similar to Unisocks

Q2: Could you explain more about your marketplace? Can I sell my own NFTs in Carmoon marketplace? Are there any certain requirements for users who want to buy and sell their NFTs in that marketplace?
Travis Wu – Co-founder & CEO of Highstreet: We have two types of market on Highstreet, limited edition and common products. Limited edition market place you have to apply to us in order to get products listed, its mostly a launchpad for new brands with great track record. The common market is for regular products from established brands, however eventually we will open for the community to participate and anyone can launch their own brands through highstreet just like with shopify. Since we are a phygital focused platform, its not as easy as making a JPEG, all our products have real world i items attached to it, so we need to ensure you can deliver these physical products to protect our users.

Q3: Almost 80% investors have just focused on price of token in short term instead of understanding the real value of the project. Can you tell us on motivations and benefits for investors to hold your token in long term?
Travis Wu – Co-founder & CEO of Highstreet: Price of token is obviously important to us and all our token investors and hodlers. However the token utility being an important in-game mechanic is something that we take pride in. Buying property within Highstreet, paying for in-metaverse entertainment, for example bidding for what song comes next in one of our Highstreet Clubs, all of these require tokens to participate. We believe a strong enough utility attached to the game will be the driving force of both token price, as well as overall sustainability of the product.

Did you consider community feedback/requests during the creation of your product in order to expand on fresh ideas for your project? Many projects fail because the target audience and clients are not understood. So I’d like to know who your ideal consumer is for your product?
Travis Wu – Co-founder & CEO of Highstreet: We are actively considering community feedback, we are actually going to be building an app targeting Oculus Quest 2 called Highstreet Snapshot that will allow VR natives (one of our most prized users) to follow our development chapter by chapter while immersed in the worlds we’ve built. THey can provide feedbacks directly on social or even during our AMAs which we will hold within the metaverse itself

How safe is your platform? Has there been any Audit so that its safe from bugs and smart contract is fully audited?
Travis Wu – Co-founder & CEO of Highstreet: Yes our smart contracts have already been audited by certik, we are however looking at another round of audit soon just to get another opinion !

Travis Wu – Co-founder & CEO of Highstreet: we have ambasadors from 12 different countries and are actively working with influencers across different regions. So far we covered North America, LATAM, SEA, China, Korea, Japan
