Our special guest today is Lenny Pettersson – CMO of My Neighbor Alice, Oliwer – Lead Designer for My Neighbor Alice.
Segment 1: Introduction about My Neighbor Alice and Lenny Pettersson – CMO of My Neighbor Alice, Oliwer – Lead Designer for My Neighbor Alice
Q1: Can you briefly introduce yourself as well as My Neighbor Alice?
Lenny Pettersson – CMO of My Neighbor Alice: Hi all! My name is Lenny Pettersson and the CMO of Antler Interactive. I have 15+ years of experience within the media & gaming industry. Worked 8 years as Senior Marketing Manager for the Nordic & Baltic region at Turner a WarnerMedia company. Vast experience in launching original IPs (such as Adventure Time, Ben 10 and Powerpuff Girls) for Cartoon Network.
Oliwer – Lead Designer for My Neighbor Alice: My name is Oliwer and i’m the Lead Designer for My Neighbor Alice. I have worked at Antler for over 4 years now as an Art Director which has led to the possibility to work multifaceted on all things regarding game development including programming, art and design.
My interest in crypto gaming grew when we were bought by Chromaway AB, and I’m now able to understand and design our games with a blockchain perspective as well as having the opportunity to work hands-on with the chromia blockchain in our games. Besides my work at Antler, I have been featured by Unreal Engine (Epic Games) for my work with their engine, as well as top voted for my work in architectural visualization on their forums.
Lastly i teach at Futuregames periodically, a highly acclaimed school focused on direct work with the gaming industry.
Lenny Pettersson – CMO of My Neighbor Alice: Since 2016 we have released six game titles, including both VR and AR technology. We have always loved experimenting with new tech and in 2018 we started looking into what we could do with blockchain. Not long after that we decided to release our first game with blockchain integration in Krystal Kart AR (for Android).
Q2: Currently on the market there are projects on blockchain games such as Decentraland, the Sandbox … Can you tell us about your competitive advantages and positioning of My Neighbor Alice compared to this opponent? What make My Neighbor Alice special?
Oliwer – Lead Designer for My Neighbor Alice: During the creation of My Neighbor Alice we aimed to create the game with several dimensions, such as:
– Blockchain-based, which will be interested in the vast audience, including DeFi, Real estate, etc.
– Multiplayer and social, which will attract regular gamers what was our general audience until now.
From the competitors, I can highlight Decentraland, Axis, Sandbox. All of them are open-world games based on building and creating.
But My Neighbor Alice is unique in that it is an open-world game with a strong visual identity based on positive images and cuteness, intended for non-blockchain skilled players as the primary target group. Also catering for an underserved market, women are a large base of players but with less purposely created content. 😊
Additionally, in the future, My Neighbor Alice will use Chromia blockchain, which has proved to be a flexible blockchain focused on decentralized games, with the peculiarity of abstracting the blockchain complexity from the gameplay and the user experience.
The ALICE token will work in a similar way to the Sandbox and Decentraland tokens. However, the game is different in several ways. One is that our primary target audience is non-blockchain people, which means that we will create a very smooth onboarding for those people that have never heard of a crypto wallet and that they, later in the game, find out about the benefits of using blockchain to monetize their efforts and trade with friends.
A second difference is that our primary platform to start with will be Steam, even though we’re planning for more platforms later. Also, I think we have a much distinct visual identity with a broader appeal than the other games in the blockchain market. Who wouldn´t want to have Alice as a neighbor?!😃
Q3: Who are the current notable partners for My Neighbor Alice and what about the capital strength of your project?
Lenny Pettersson – CMO of My Neighbor Alice: That´s a great question and a very important milestone was recently reached when we secured both financial support as well as strategic partners that will be of great importance for this project, Kyros Ventures being one of them. That combined with our current team aboard makes us really excited about the future of this project. You can read more about it in the Announcement channel for My Neighbor Alice. https://t.me/AliceAnnouncements/7
We also recently partnered up with Bounce Finance🚀
Q4: Can you tell us a little insight into future ALICE token utilities, features, and token economics?
Lenny Pettersson – CMO of My Neighbor Alice: Great question!
ALICE token is the native currency in the game. It allows token holders to play, invest and also be part of the game. There is a fixed supply of ALICE tokens. Token utilities includes:
Payments: ALICE is the game currency that players use to purchase assets and land in the game.
DeFi: Token holders could participate in staking and earn rewards as a certain percentage of platform revenues will be given out as staking rewards. For instance, the game would have revenues from plot sales, asset sales, transaction fees etc. and that a fixed proportion would be distributed to the staking pool. NFTs will also have DeFi features such as collateralization and buybacks.
Governance: Owning Alice enables the player to participate in the governance process through a decentralized organisation, with proposals and voting structures. There are issues related to the platform operations and development that could be decided based on the preference of the token holders. In order to encourage users to participate in the voting process, there will also be rewards for voters.
And finally:)
Play to earn: There are a proportion of the tokens reserved for user incentives. By completing quests in the game, players could earn ALICE tokens. This design is to encourage user participation in the game and retention.
Blockelite Host: How much token total supply ?
Lenny Pettersson – CMO of My Neighbor Alice: Total amount is 100 000 000, you can read more about the tokenomics in our whitepaper: Click here
Q5: What is the progress and plan for roadmap 2021 of your project?
Lenny Pettersson – CMO of My Neighbor Alice: The timeline for MNA is 1) Early prototype on Steam for token holders in January 2) Early access in 2021 summer 3) 1.0 version of the game in end of Q1/Q2 2022
Without being too specific, we aim to bring MNA to millions of players within a few years.

Q2: Most of gamers don’t have technical blockchain/crypto knowledge. how would you introduce My Neighbor Alice games to normal users who doesn’t have enough knowledge about blockchain?
Oliwer – Lead Designer for My Neighbor Alice: As i myself come from a non-crypto background originally, and have been developing games for a long time. I clearly see multiple ways to introduce non-blockchain players into the game. My Neighbor Alice is primarily targeting non-crypto users, who can get easily onboarded from regular platforms, such as Steam and other major platforms. Despite its blockchain characteristics and in-game DeFi elements, only players will decide on how much they want to be involved in the game’s decentralised features and DeFi and thus keep blockchain as an optional functionality.
What is more,
the gaming industry is in a very interesting time period where procedural building games start trending and a very few interesting building games have successfully incorporated blockchain technology. We also believe that the style of the game can be uniquely identified. The game philosophy is memorable. I.e, we use “Alice” as a central figure in the game to connect the users to a “fantasized neighborhood”.
Q3: What do you think about the Vietnamese market for the development of My Neighbor Alice? Arranging the My Neighbor Alice has any plans to promote products in Vietnam in particular and the world in general?

Q4: I could see that NFT isn’t yet included in Your ecosystem, should incase there’s high community demand for it, will it be considered? If yes, how will it be done? perhaps voting or which other means?
Oliwer – Lead Designer for My Neighbor Alice: In shorty, NFTs is indeed part of the ecosystem and we´ll even have an NFT creation tool in which you can create your own assets to trade and sell.
Q5: My neighbor Alice is a multiplayer blockchain builder game, when I get in it how can I invite my friends to play? Would I get any reward for doing so?
Lenny Pettersson – CMO of My Neighbor Alice: That´s a great question! There will be different ways to invite friends as well as spreading the word about the game where there will be rewards for doing so. Please join our community and stay tuned for more updates about My Neighbor Alice and how you can support:) We´ll continuosly release news and updates about the game.
Segment 3: Live questions
Q1: Can you expand our knowledge about Your Roadmap this year and the future and any Updates on your Research and development progress?
Oliwer – Lead Designer for My Neighbor Alice: We have a roadmap filled with massive amount of content. Both blockchain specifics but also multiplayer aspects such as socializing, trading, doing activites and quests and much more. Half our day is spent equaly into Research as Development, as its important to understand what other games has done well, and what they have not. We loan alot of good inspiration from Animal Crossing on their game design, as an example.
Q2: Many users wants rewards from adventure games like $Alice, Tell me How do gamers get rewarded from the game My Neighbor Alice? Is there any ways to get rewarded from the My Neighbor Alice Game?
Lenny Pettersson – CMO of My Neighbor Alice: Hello! You will earn rewards by logging in to the game daily, doing quests, and completing your daily missions. It will be a huge world where you can stick to something you like and always be rewarded for your daily activities.
Token holders could participate in staking and earn rewards as a certain percentage of platform revenues will be given out as staking rewards. For instance, the game would have revenues from plot sales, asset sales, transaction fees etc. and that a fixed proportion would be distributed to the staking pool. NFTs will also have DeFi features such as collateralization and buybacks.

Q4: Can you list some great features of My Neighbor Alice that makes it ahead of its competitors? And what problems do you see occurring in the blockchain industry nowadays and how does your project aims to solve these problems?
Oliwer – Lead Designer for My Neighbor Alice: I think we as a team is coming in hot, with alot of previous experience with designing games and montizing for mobile markets. Since we was bought up my Chromaway, learning about blockchain and its advantages, i think gives us an edge in pursuing the highest quality in both economical aspects, but also game design, and attractive regular steam users. We hope the mix will provide great results, as no other company from what i know, has showed their best sides when it comes to art, design, replayability and so on.
Our strongest features from a game design perspective is:
Multiplayer,
Social Features,
Being able to earn by playing,
Free to play, for interested players,
A great community!
Q5: What are the platforms that My Neighbor Alice will be available on? Are there any minimum and recommended system requirements?
Lenny Pettersson – CMO of My Neighbor Alice: Initially the game will be available on PC via Steam but we´re looking into other platforms as well so please stay tuned for more news😊Our ambition is to make the game accessible to as many players as possible while still delivering a high quality game experience.
Q6: Can you please give us some reasons, motivation or advantages investors would get in the long term? Also what was the inspiration behind the name?
Oliwer – Lead Designer for My Neighbor Alice: Designing a game for regular steam users and polish the blockchain onboarding, we think will attract more people who are not familiar with the technology. We imagine a lot of players to be part of the ecosystem in the near future, and the result of that will definitely increase the value of owning ALICE tokens early.
The name is inspired by “My Neighbor Totoro”. Its the cuteness, and also the “loveability” of having a neighbor. Someone you look up to and that is always friendly. Alice is like that in many ways. She will help you with alot of duties in the game.
Q7: In your honest opinion, do you think Blockchain Gaming is here to stay? Cryptokitties which is the pioneer of blockchain gaming is no where to be found today. Why does the future hold for MyNeigborAlice?
Lenny Pettersson – CMO of My Neighbor Alice: I think it´s here to stay but to get mainstream adoption it needs to be more accessible which is why we´re targeting traditional gamers with My Neighbor Alice.
My Neighbor Alice is not to be seen as a game for blockchain players. It is first a game for a large global audience of players in general. No prior knowledge about cryptocurrencies is needed. Because of that, we compare mainly with the normal game market, and target the same players. A much bigger audience than previously seen in the field of blockchain gaming, and an associated larger opportunity for revenues.
